Let's say you find out about a cool comedian/actor today. Naturally, you want to watch more of him/her. Right? So what do you do? You go to Google and type the name of the actor plus movies in the search bar and hit enter. Then Google will serve you a list of movies he worked on. I emphasize the word "worked on". Remember that. Now you have a list of movies, and you go to YouTube and watch the trailers of those movies to find a good one. Then you download one and watch it. But you get disappointed after watching it, because your favourite actor is just a guest star of the movie, and he only has 2 lines in the movie, and they are not even that funny.
This happened to me yesterday. I was looking for George Lopez movies and found a few of them. first one was okay, as he had a fair share of appearances. But the second movie, on the other hand, though it was marketed as a George Lopez movie, he had like 5 minutes of acting in a one and a half hour long movie. As a geroge lopez fan, it was disappointing. My complaint is that if you are going to market your movies as a 'say' "George Lopez" movie, then do it only if the story revolves around him. If he is just a guest star who has two lines, say he is a guest actor in the movie. Don't lie to fans so you can make more money. That's very wrong.
Thanks, guys. Just a little rant. Comment if you can relate to this.
