In today's article, I will be telling you about different ways you can sell your e-waste and make some money.
Sell Them For Semi-Precious Metals

By semi-precious metal, I meant Iron, Aluminium, Copper, Brass and etc. Basically, things you can separate without much effort. This is a quick way to make some bucks. But you can lose some money when you sell for just semi-precious metal.
Sell Them For Precious Metal Recovery

If we go deep into the metal recovery field we can try precious metal recovery. But to recover them it takes time and you need specific knowledge on how to identify them and how to separate them safely. Even though you can go through the complex process of recovering precious metals with chemicals, I advise you not to do that especially if you are not familiar with the chemicals and the risks that come with that process. So, if you take some more time than basic metal recovery you can identify and separate materials for precious metal recovery. You can find buyers by listing your products online as "gold/silver (or whatever metal your material contains) recovery materials. There are many YouTube videos about how to identify precious metals in e-waste. I suggest you watch some of them and learn about it first. so you can identify those precious metal-containing components as soon as you see them.
Fix Them And Sell In The 2nd Hand Market

I think this is the best thing you can do with e-waste. I mean, why throw away equipment if they can be repaired and used by someone else? right? It's way better than going to a landfill. so if you have the knowledge and skills that are required to repair electronic equipment you should do just that. you can sell them online in the second-hand market for way more money than if you would to you sell to a recycler.
Sell To A Electronic Repair Student Or To A Repair Shop

Electronic repair students can use old circuit boards to practice soldering and desoldering. especially to practice soldering big chips using hot air. And they might be interested in starting their own repair shop. Did you know that some electronic components can't be bought to repair broken devices? so some repairers stack up old circuit boards to harvest wanted parts. So you can try to sell your old boards (especially laptop boards) to a repair shop. But don't ask a fortune for them. Ask for a reasonable price. or better yet, you can list them online as "for parts".
Make Art And Sell Them Online

With your creativity, you can turn e-waste into art and handmade products for everyday use and sell them on a website like Etsy and maybe in a garage sale. For example, you can create jewelry, key chains and etc. For more ideas, you can use Google and get some inspiration then let your creativity do the work. This could be a very niche market so it could be hard to get your first sale. but it is still an option for making money with e-waste.
That's it for today guys. Hope you learned something.
