Oh. Not again

Time travel and Bitcoin.

Hi folks,

Hope you are all feeling well and safe in this increasingly chaotic and dangerous world. Not posted for ages; rarely do now.

But I'm going to write about time travel and proof without a doubt, how humanity will never achieve this and, if I can, link it to Bitcoin.

So humanity will never achieve time travel; the proof is not all around us. What do I mean by that? Well, think about almost any invention in history - bronze, iron, writing, books, guns, radio, phones, cars, smart-phones, the internet and....they all have the same pattern of adoption. Those who have access at first are the rich, the connected, the inventors!, those with access to information and resources. Every example is the same, then gradually the items trickle down to us lot. We all have phones now, all of us here are connected to the internet on some kind of device. Many of us will have, at the least, access to a car. So to cut a long story short; the same would hold true for time-machines. One would be invented, then a few more made until they are chucking them out of factories 100 at a time, maybe a hundred years later. This plainly hasn't happened as we are all here living in 2023 and born during the previous 70 years or so. History is intact as we can see. No chaos. No anarchy. But lets simplify it more: the question 'Where are you from?' is ubiquitous in every language - because we can travel in space. Now, I don't know about you, but nobody has ever asked me 'When are you from?' It doesn't make sense, it would be plainly weird if someone did. It's weird because that question doesn't make sense. If time travel was ever possible, that weird question would be common -place. 'Hi. My name is David. I am a factory worker from France and the 15th century' wouldn't seem like an unusual introduction on a random quiz show or group meeting. So time machines will never be invented - remember we have infinity to play with here.

So how does that relate to bitcoin. Mmm. I don't know but, going back to what I wrote earlier. Are we cryptoheads the new 'rich, connected, inventors'. Or in modern talk 'the early adopters'? Yes, we are.

(Oh I met a guy down the pub the other night. From 2068. Said I should buy Bitcoin)

Hi folks. Hope you are all hodling on. I’ve been into crypto since 2017 and just buy and keep. I’m an ornithologist and keen musician and had a bash at making art and nft’s too. Hope you enjoy my random and incohesive ramblings
