We can either end up with something like The Terminator, where Skynet is the all knowing artificial intelligence or we can end up like The Matrix, where we all live in a virtual world because machines have taken over the real world.





The great thing about envisioning what the future will look like is that it has no limits, it can actually be more like "Ready Player One" where people mostly live in the real world but they connect to a virtual world half of the time. Where big corporations own these virtual worlds. Which when compared to "The Matrix" is a much better future . The likelihood of us being fuel for machines is actually very convincing and imaginable since we are basically made up of energy. The thing with that scenario is that it is very likely because it has many similarities to our world now, people choose to take the blue pill, they choose to be completely ignorant to whats going around them and they prefer to give up certain rights and idealogies in exchange for " security and safety". A famous leader once said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." We are seeing this on a masive scale and only a few people actually choose to seek " The Truth"




Another scenario is one being like "Wall E" where Earth is scorched and Humans are living in outer space. Most Humans are obese because of the lack of exercise. In this scenario Robots are cleaning up earth and searching for signs of life to alert humans when Earth can be Re-Inhabited once again.



The most entartaining scenario is the one where we live all these Movie type scenarios all at once. It could be that we create an artificial intelligence that is all knowing such as Skynet, it then creates an almost flawless virtual world where humans can live since the real world is uninhabitable. The expenditure of human energy such as exercise is used up as energy by Skynet and Corporations own alot of the things in the virtual world such as real estate, clothes and food. Kind of like the real world were living in now. Is this world even real. We arent already living in a virtual world , it cant be ..... OR ARE WE?
