We all are facing a difficult time going through this pandemic, but for the first time ever in many of our lives, there's no sports to lean on. For many if not all sports watchers, there's a void in daily life with the two most popular American sports being out of commission until further notice. For the first time in years, the NBA had my full attention with Lebron and the Lakers, KD & Kyrie to the Nets and other teams on the rise. Unfortunately, it came to a screeching halt and I find myself playing the NBA & NFL video games to fill that void for what its worth. I often wonder how the two leagues can recover in real life when this is over? How will fans react? I'm sure not many will be too comfy sitting elbow to elbow with people anymore. I'm thinking that sports may evolve into virtual seating via augmented reality or the VR experience at some point if numbers are low when sports returns. How will player interaction be after this? I find it hard to implement any new rule changes in regards to contact so will there be mandatory ongoing testing for professional athletes as they earn their paychecks? Lot's of questions, few answers at this point. Chime in and share your ideas/thoughts on this. I'm sure it'll be interesting going forward. In the meantime, stay home and stay safe.
