Watching Lebron James & The Lakers make the statement they did by beating  the Bucks & Clippers in the same weekend was a joy to watch.  The very two players that the media is trying to elevate above Lebron were the very two players he played his best against.  Giannis and Kawhi both played well for their respective teams, but the show Lebron put on against them showed the world that they still have work to do to reach the level of  a 35 year old Lebron James.  His detractors will quickly point out his losses & failures, but his overall body of work can't be denied. Unfortunately we live in a time where the common sports opinion is microscopic and spoken in a way to bend it backwards if one is wrong.  Here's one thing you can't get wrong no matter what angle you try to take.  Lebron is an all-time great if not the G.O.A.T.  If you dont agree with G.O.A.T status then you at least know he's an all timer.  The NBA will take a dip after he retires because he's the last of a dying breed of players while still paving the way for a new breed of player that love's and respects the game first.
