FOMC their was talks of a pause on interest rate hikes in anticipation of December 2023. The 2% inflation goal remains unchanged to regain price stability. Full effects of the tightening is yet to be felt. Jerome Powell in this months FOMC press conference stated "We understand the hardship that inflation is causing". My reaction is that the DXY if it is to stay needs saving. Interest is going else where into systems like Crypto and Gold backed currencies like those of BRICS. It is increasingly likely that the U.S dollar will not remain the worlds reserve currency as Crypto becomes regulated and the CBDC's roll in thier may be no use for dollars issued by the USA government no more.
