Is there a need for pride?

Pride, one of the seven deadly sins that people have no idea exist.

Pride in yourself, pride in your accomplishments, pride in your sports team, pride in your children or grandchildren, pride in your nation. From Proud Boys to Pride Month. this wickedness of pride has taken root in so many people they cannot see the harm pride is doing to them. 

Let us pray for them that mercy will be given even as we pray for forgiveness of our own prideful nature.

We know mercy is given but none of us know who mercy will be given to. We know we are guilty of sin and we pray to "I AM" for forgiveness. Yet so many people are proud of things they do not realize is a sinful wickedness they simply do not understand or more importantly do not care. 

To fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and it was created with the faithful in the womb."*

"Pride is hateful before God and man: and by both doth one commit iniquity."*
