5 ways to STOP wasting your TIME

By msos222 | Smart lifestyle | 17 Aug 2022

Hey, i've decided to write this article to help you with time wasting. Not so long time ago i've had a big problem with managing my time but these easy ways helped me to change it.

#1 Uninstall all social media from your mobile device

And i mean it. Just uninstall facebook, instagram and other social media you are wasting time on. Do it right now.

These are the worst time wasters you have. Especially when you get many notifications - your brain just cant resist on not checking the phone. I used to scroll the facebook for like 30-40 minutes every day in the morning and that was a very bad habit, there is no need to start your day like that. You can use this time to go out of the bed earlier or do something more productive.

#2 Stop reading the news

This one might not sound like a good idea but indeed it is. If you notice how much time you spend on reading useless bullshit you will probably forget in the next 15 minutes you will admit that i'm right. But what if something very important happens? Then i can assure you that someone will call or text you the same day. In case you really want to read the news - schedule max. 30 minutes every day.

#3 Schedule your time

Using calendar app on your phone you can schedule every hour of your day - and that's a very good practice. I'm pretty sure most of us complain about being busy/ not having enough time but after scheduling all your activites you will most likely find out that you have more time than you think. Try to make it a habit and you won't regret it.

#4 Set static hour for reading your messages / emails

If you often find yourself spending a lot of time reading emails or messaging try this method out.

Basically all you have to do is to set one or two hours every day - for example 12am and 6pm and only during this time you can read your emails. I found it a great practice becouse i often found myself checking on my email or phone multiple times a day. Keep in mind that you should have your phone always active for important events - calls from your family/boss etc. But nothing more than that.

#5 Listen to valuable audiobooks/podcast during travel

Another great practice that might save you some time is listening to audiobooks instead of actually reading the book. You can implement this into your life during your travel to work/ running or walking.

Thanks for reading and i hope you will find something that's going to work for you. Leave your thoughts in the comments, i will be happy to respond in case you have any questions ;)
