Don't ruin your beautiful soul to fit into an ugly society.

The world will try to change you. It'll tell you to be harder, colder, more selfish, more like everybody else.

It'll tell you that your kindness is weakness, that your softness is a flaw, that your morals are outdated. And little by little, if you're not careful, you'll start to change.

You'll dim your light to make others comfortable. You'll compromise your values to fit in. You'll become someone you don't even recognize to be accepted. 

But at what cost?

Fitting into an ugly society means becoming ugly yourself. It means trading your soul for acceptance from people who don't even know who they are. That's not worth it.

Stay soft. Stay kind. Stay you. The world doesn't need another copy. It needs what you were before it tried to change you.
