I used to have 72d20, a PATHETIC amount of twenty sided dice. I am now proud owner of over 100 icosahedral beauties, 128 to be precise.
My Christmas money wasn't needed for bills or anything like that, thankfully, so I dropped a bunch of it on some dice from Chessex Manufacturing and Dark Elf Dice (I'm not affiliated, I just really like the quality and service of these two sites. But if someone from those sites sees this, hey hit me up.)
Look at em.

Byotiful.
Starting from the top left and going by group, I've got my original group of Chessex dice, black with white numerals. Then below that are my new dusty green and copper d20s, and to the right of those I have black and copper d20s. The reddish line below those two groups are a Chessex Vortex series set of 10d20, in the beautiful burgundy and gold color set. Below those are the group of d20s I usually use when I'm playing the game, the red one is from DiceLab (not affiliated, but hey guys) and is my best roller. Then I've got three official WOTC D&D dice and two metal dice, one enameled and the other not (close-ups of those later.) The multicolored group are the first big batch of d20s I got, I think I ordered them from Banggood or something. They have some imperfections, and some of them roll rather poorly as a result, unfortunately. The four in the upper right-hand corner are my Big Boys, the pearlescent one is from Dark Elf Dice, the two blue starburst ones are from Chessex, and the big copper one up top is another Dark Elf Dice buy called The Boulder. It's my player killer.

Listen to the chonk on this boy.
I rolled it behind the screen during my game on Saturday, scared my players half to death. More on that game in a different post, there's a funny story!
Here's a close-up video of one of the translucent Banggood dice:
You can see it has some bubbles in it. If there are enough of those in any given die, it can bias said die and cause it to roll abnormally. The Chessex dice are manufactured using a much more careful process. I'm going to order some clear ones from them one of these days to verify this claim, but the Chessex d20s do seem to roll out a better sample of numbers, so I am inclined to believe them.
I like these:

I'm pretty sure the metal is brass, and the white enamel looks good for contrast. These are another Dark Elf Dice purchase.
I've got another set of metal dice, I can't remember where I got them.

They've got a cool handmade look and a Dwarven motif.

The d4 is the coolest one, I think:

Sorry for strange fingers, I keep burning them on soldering irons and such things.
To wit, I have 100 good Chessex rollers now, so I'll be using those to get my random numbers from now on. The Banggood ones I'll retire, and the others are primarily for play. A hundred rolls at once is pretty good, though the resolution could be better, yeah? I'll hit a thousand eventually, maybe I'll keep going even.
Anywho...
Them's the dice!
