Holy remedy for family anger.
Would you have imagined that the creature of the original Star Wars trilogy would have an excessively tender baby counterpart? The Mandalorian made it possible and it is already a cybernetic phenomenon. This Thursday, fueling our love for Baby Yoda, Jon Favreau (creator of the series) shared a behind the scenes with this character.
In the words of the showrunner, this ten-second video is the perfect antidote for any family tension, especially on the date of American holidays.
«If your Thanksgiving table gets too hot, show everyone this video I took from the Mandalorian set »
In reality, such a capture does not reveal anything new about the character or the manipulation exerted on the creature so that it resembles an animated being. It only consists of the recording of a screen where the movements of the infant are reproduced. And (still) Jon Favreau is right, it is the only thing we need to continue celebrating the charm of Baby Yoda.
What this audiovisual could corroborate us is the authenticity of the baby in the mere recording set. It seems that the influence of Werner Herzog (who plays The Client in The Mandalorian ) for Baby Yoda to not be CGI product, was correct.
The character has been present in all four chapters of the show so far premiered at Disney +.
