A specific discipline in earthquakes forecast  study the correlation between seismic events. They call foreshock and aftershock specific events that occur before and after the main shock.

Once you are able to classify a foreshock from a statistical perspective you will be surprised to be able to predict 90% of the main shockS.

The same is for crypto currencies. It would be a bit harder to identify the peculiarities of the fore-coin .... but if you think a bit you can start classifying the pattern in a graph and become the new coinmolog the seismolog equivalent.
