The new Publish0x banner has given a new announcement to all the users that they are switching to the Optimism network and changing the tipping token to $OP from $AMPL and $SPOT in the next 3–6 week.Soon, the confirmed date will be made public. Users can withdraw their tokens, and UnWithdraw $SPOT and $AMPL balances will be swapped to new tokens.

The new Optimism network is going to be huge, as till now, to withdraw tokens from publish0x, there are only two ways: one is Kucoin, and another is the Ethereum mainnet.

• Kucoin requires a KYC; in my experience, their rules are so conditional and frequently change many times according to their benefits, not the benefits of users.

• The Ethereum mainnet has high gas fees, and most of your tipped income is lost in between transactions and token swaps.

What is the optimism network?

It is an L2 blockchain designed to provide secure and fast transactions at a fraction of the cost of Ethereum. It combines its mainnet chain with other L2 chains to form a superchain. It's like an extension of Ethereum.

The Optimism network has built upon ethereum, which provides users with a much more secure and fast transaction at a fraction of the cost with the help of its rollup technology. About 90% deduction in cost in both transaction and token swap.

In my opinion, it's a great update that's going to enhance the user experience and convenience for all the users. As it's still a developing project, it has potential in the near future for better results.
