Unless you've been completely asleep at the wheel, Bitcoin has once again re-claimed the 40k level. Whether or not it sustains will be told over the next few days, but things are looking pretty good for the cryptocurrency year-to-date. Let's just say that 2023 has been much kinder than 2022.
Wow, what a beautiful chart! You could say that:
- It's been an "up" year
- BTC is on the "rise"
- Bitcoin "to the moon"
To be exact, it's up 146.92% from January 1, 2023. So, with the next halving upcoming and what appears to the beginning of a new bull run happening, Bitcoin is once again getting everyone hyped up. It's pretty difficult not to be a little giddy, looking at the all-time chart:
Especially now that the price has decisively broken through the previous lows of the 2020-2021 bull run. It's hard to find a bear case now. Many folks are already calling for 100k in 2024. I think perhaps it's a bit too early for such calls. But, regardless, the "hodl" method seems to be winning strategy again: buy what you can and just hoard it.
What's your strategy when it comes to Bitcoin? Are you a trader, a hodler, something else?
