What up fellow P0x'ers! If you know me and have followed my blog here, you know that I love finding new ways to earn free crypto. Yes, I'm all about the faucets and free claims, etc. These websites still exist and are paying (albeit very small amounts). So, if you're like me and enjoy these sites to collect free crypto dust, listen up. Today, I will be doing a write-up on the Google Chrome browser extension called Slice.
Now Slice has been around since 2022. The concept it uses, pay-to-view ads, is nothing new and is something that used by practically every other crypto faucet/earning website. The twist here is that Slice operates as a Chrome browser extension, meaning you have to incorporate the browser into your routine if you want to collect sats from Slice. Here's what the extension looks like:

Boy, you gotta love that streak! Yes, just by checking every day (no real browsing time needed), you can earn a little something. Are you going to get rich doing this? No. Are you going to earn some extra sats? Yes. You may be wondering just how much you can earn. Well, the daily check-in reward caps out at 30 "slices" -- which translates to +/- 30 sats at the current BTC prices.

So, what are you actually trading in to earn your free BTC? Well, if you guessed browsing history, you are correct. You are essentially trading that valuable browsing data for the monetary reward. It's a passive earning extension and ad revenue sharing platform that pays you a tiny portion of the ad revenue when you see a "Slice ad." The payout options that Slice offers are as follows:

Please note that in order to withdraw BTC from Slice you will need to use the Lightning Network.

So, that's the skinny on Slice. It's another one of those passive earning platforms, in the form of a Google Chrome browser extension. I have not yet personally received a payout, as I've just started using it but other users report mostly positive experiences. I will create a follow-up post with a payout confirmation when the time comes, in order to post verification so all can see.
Using platforms like Slice aren't going to make you rich or replace full-time employment but can provide an easy way to earn some free BTC to save for later. For the stack and HODL crowd, it's perfect!
