I can sense a great deal of resentment toward the newest tipping token here on Publish0x. Many are simply not happy with $SPOT calling it a worthless shitcoin and generally deeming it unworthy of anyone's time and attention.

It is true that if you ultimately want to swap your $SPOT for Ether via Ampleforth conversion on the Spot App, you will have to pay up in gas fees. So what choice do you have if you don't want to pay disproportionate gas fees for converting relatively low amounts of $SPOT?

For one, you can keep it here on P0x and, if you believe it will ultimately be discontinued as a tipping token like $FARM and $STA, the balance will automatically be converted to $ETH.

Your other option is ultimately to just complain and keep it in the wallet of your choice to decide its fate at a later date. Bottom line in my view is that beggars can't be choosers. I'm sure we would all love to see tips in Bitcoin or another major token but the decision lies with the developers, who have stated that Publish0x is crypto agnostic. The post written by the community generate the traffic, but none of us actually pay anything to use or be rewarded on the platform.

Final word: whether you think $SPOT is a good boy, or belongs in the dog house, it is here for now. What you choose to do with your free tokens is ultimately up to you.
