Hello,
more and more people are showing interest in cryptocurrencies. They are attracted by the value of Bitcoin and high earning stories at low cost. Of course, large% profits are real, but you need knowledge and experience - if you have won several thousand percent on the first project in which you invested, it means that you were lucky and it does not mean that with each subsequent project it will be the same (despite everything, congratulations). Let's move on to these tips that you need to remember not only at the beginning of your "adventure" with cryptocurrencies, but throughout the period when we are in this market.
1. Invest as much as you can lose - that is, invest your money and only those that you will not have to pay bills in a week or month or will not be needed to survive until the proverbial first. Every now and then we can find a story on the Internet that someone took a loan and invested, and after some time (usually a very short) the price of the project shot up and that someone repaid the loan and earned a lot of money - I would compare such stories to those who win a jackpot (they exist, they live somewhere, there are very few of them, but they are. Most importantly, we do not know their further stories and we do not know how their fates unfolded). So it is not a very good idea to take a loan, it is definitely better to allocate a certain part of the amount that we save each month and start our investor adventure with it.
2. By the time you haven't sold your cryptocurrencies, you haven't lost on them yet. What do I mean, if you bought a given project for 100$ and after some time the price of the project fell, and your application for tracking your portfolio shows that it is now worth 80$. If you decide to sell it and actually sell the entire project you have, it means that you have accepted this loss and you actually have only 80$. If not the sale, then this loss is only in this application and your head - what matters is the price when you sell a given project - NOT WHAT THE APPLICATION OR CRYPTO MARKET SHOWS. So if you haven't sold, you haven't lost !!!
3. Don't play with all your money at once - in the sense that the “ALL IN” strategy doesn't always work well. If you have decided to buy a project, buy it first with a part of your investment funds - then observe the project and the market. If the price of the project drops or goes up in some time, then you will buy for another part of your funds and such a strategy is called price averaging. Similarly, this strategy may turn out to be a very good solution for the exit (sale) of the project - when, after selling at the level planned by us, the price of the project continues to increase, then we have more profit - if it drops, we wait for the price to return.
4. Planning the sale of your project - if you are already a happy owner of one of the projects - think about what profits will satisfy you - plan it and you can even set the sale on them so as not to observe the crypto exchange - the coins will sell themselves if the price reaches your levels.
5. Keep your Cryptocurrencies on a safe wallet, not on the crypto exchange - unless, as in the previous point, you already have their sale planned and in your opinion, the sale may take place in a short period of time. It is important to remember that the larger the crypto exchange has better security and possible compensation for customers - and the probability that such an exchange will cease to exist overnight decreases.
6. Get to know the project you are investing in and check what is happening in it - watch social media - more knowledge about the project will give you a better chance to make a decision to sell at the right moment. Observation of the social media of the project will give you information and knowledge of what is currently happening in the project and it will allow you to predict whether the price will go up or down.
7. Do not believe in a certain and quick profits - cryptocurrency market is characterized by even greater volatility than traditional markets, so here the situation is even more dynamic.
8. Remember to take profits, if you are good at any of your projects (you are in the black) then take part of the profits - preferably on stablecoin, it will be your budget if there are price drops and you want to average the purchase price (that was above).
9. Diversification - this is the key word :). Do not enter one project (it was all in before), if you enter two or three projects, the chance that one of them will start (its price will increase) is higher in percentage, and the drops are less eye-catching and sounds: D.
10. Last and most importantly, YOU and only YOU are responsible for your cryptocurrencies and their security. It is YOU who decide whether to buy or sell a given project - not the lady from TV, not the man from Youtube - this is your money and your responsibility !!!
11. After the suggestions from the groups, one more point - Remember about the scammers waiting for you here on any of the groups regarding the projects, admin or a member of the team working on the project will not write you first !!! Never give anyone your private keys to your wallets or your seeds (wallet security words known only to you). There are no projects or systems where you deposit a certain amount and they will give you back the double amount - remember that. If someone contacts you, verify his / her identity - ask on the group or on the official website if he is really a member of the team and if he is able to help you. IT IS your money and you are responsible for it !!!
What else is worth knowing: If you came to the world of crypto to earn money, do not be surprised that the cryptocurrency exchanges require KYC (i.e. document verification - if you have a bank account, you probably had to show them the document too. And here and here we are dealing with money ) So this verification does not mean that the exchange will sell your data to someone in 5 minutes;).
I hope this article will be useful to people who are just starting out in this market. If you have been on this market for some time, let me know what else you can add here, and maybe delete it - at this moment there is a decalogue: D, but I hope that we will be able to put all valuable comments here for new people here.
