How to start free?
You can start SoRare without investing a single penny to it, however this way is slower, but if you are lucky enough you can get your hand on the Limited card rewards.
The Free Tournaments
Currently there are 2 free-to-play tournaments the Casual and the Academy.
Each of this tournaments offer Free-to-play (common) card and Limited card prizes.
Casual:
All competitions (all leagues in real-life) are covered, and you can only use common cards to compete.
You need to finish in the top100 to earn Limited card rewards.
Of course there is a huge price difference between a Tier3 and a Tier1 Limited card, but i cant really say an amount, once i received a Tier3 Limited which was around 1.22$ while a Tier1 can be as high as 100$ or more.
Academy:
All competitions (all leagues in real-life) are covered, and you can use 2 limited cards with your commons.
You need to score more than 350 points to earn Limited card rewards.
The newly created tournament format is a little more interesting because there you only need to watch out for the score you earn and you dont have to worry about being pushed out from the top100 by 0.06 points. This format is reward you based on the score your team gets.
here you need to score more than 350 points to earn a Tier3 reward which is around the same score need to get for a reward in casual, but as i said there you dont need to worry about being pushed out from the top100.
But if you arent lucky and you dont get 400 points in your first tournament you still earn common rewards which expand your free-to-play collection, making a bigger pool of players, with time you surely earn some reward from the F2P format.
How to start?
You can even start playing SoRare without investing money in it, there is even a F2P option where you can still win rewards that you can sell for ETH.
