Hello, World. 

I am RightSide. I've often wondered what it would be like to be a writer, but I dismissed it as something that only other people could do.

Today, I begin my writing journey. I have no idea what to expect as I've never done this before, but this is certainly an interesting website, so I figured it would give me something to do in my spare time, and maybe earn me some much-needed money in the meantime. I imagine I won't be making a lot of money on here to begin with, but I have a good imagination, and I am somewhat knowledgeable in a variety of topics, and I can hardly wait to share all the things with you.

My intention is to be a variety publisher, and I have all kinds of things I wish to share, maybe some recipes, some life hacks, some short stories, how to avoid falling prey to the vast sea of scams, information about how to get the most out of websites, or perhaps even criticising those websites, or giving my opinion on where I think they could make improvements. The sky is the limit when it comes to writing, and I have only just begun!

I am often pessimistic about websites that aren't especially well-known. I have stumbled across this website in the past, on more than a just a few occasions, but I guess I didn't quite realise what it was. I thought it was some sort of news aggregator, or some huge company, employing thousands of writers (which, I suppose, in a sense, isn't entirely inaccurate). I didn't realise it would give me the opportunity to publish articles about things I have encountered, or have an opinion on, but what I do know is, I have some value to bring to the table, and if people find that useful, they can tip me for free, what more could we want. It's a win-win scenario.

I've never really experienced what it was like for a social media account to take-off, as none of mine ever did, but I feel optimistic for this one.

I'm happy that this platform has the potential to help so many people, in a myriad of ways, and I look forward to sharing my journey with you!
