I started in crypto, back a few years ago in 2021.  This is when the Gamestonk stock party was happening.  My wife told me all about it from an article she read on Telegram and from that morning, I invested in Gamestop as well as other companies.  I DID NOT make millions from that stock play game and instead finished out breaking even.  However, while that was happening, my wife started to follow a guy called the "Crypto Vigilante".  The Crypto Vigilante, had channels and youtube videos explaining how he invested in Bitcoin when it was just a few hundred dollars each and when it started to get higher than $30k, he sold some, making him a lot of money.  He didn't want to stay in America though, because America has no control over crypto, and therefore he left and moved to Mexico.  Now, his bio aside, he got my wife interested in Crypto and she ended up spending about $500 on some Monero in 2021.  My wife makes more than me at her job and she has more play cash as a result.  My money, my $250 that I spent in total on crypto, all went into a new coin called Pirate.

So, I started an Exodus wallet, started Coinbase and was glued to doing almost every website online that I could find, that would offer free crypto for my time as well as random faucet apps for my android phone and groups and channels on Telegram.  THIS is where my review and experience comes from.  After doing these for so long, I learned how they worked and from there, is how I can make these articles and reviews.  Unlike others though, I am not sponsored about anything so I have no qualms when speaking the truth about what and how these sites act.

I have now been in crypto for 2 years and in this time, I had cashed out my original Pirate into gift cards and used them.  I had also acquired at one point about $1,000 worth of free crypto, from faucets and staking.  I then took the rest of my crypto in my wallet and after exchanging it for Algorand, staked it.  Exodus was offering 20% APR interest rewards on Algorand and because I had so much in there, a few hundred dollars worth, it was coming out to about 50-60 cents a day.  I did this until last year, when Algorand started a new Governance project and sites were no longer offering staking for it.

After Algorand, I exchanged what I had, over to a new one on Exodus called Ontology.  Exodus has Ontology staking at about 23% APR and pays your rewards in the gas crypto for that one called Ontology Gas.  Ontology has never dropped past 20 cents each and the gas is always a few cents more, so I have been happy with that.  

Currently, I had started an un-staking period of the Ontology, which can last about 2 months!  I plan on converting that into bitcoin and sending it off for long term holding.  My wife sent her Monero, which she acquired several years ago, to me and I placed it on a staking pool site called Osmosis Dex.  Unfortunately, I started that right before the recent crypto market crash, so the $700 I had invested is now only worth about $200.   I had already written about Osmosis Dex, which I am using for liquidity pools and I only just started with this site this year, so I am still new into this.

Even though the market is still rebounding, because of numerous attempts from the US government to destroy it, I feel as though the international markets will continue to help use and push crypto.  I have hope that what is happening now, is only temporary and I have hope that I will soon be able to make a few dollars a day, instead of the few cents a day which I had started with.
