Hello!
I have been thinking about the 10,000$ resistance for quite a long time, at least the whole 2020. Is Bitcoin going to break and hold it?
Last February we were above 10,000$ for some days but it wasn't possible to stay above that psychological number for a long time. One month later, prices were trading more than 50% below that mark. It was a really fast crash and a lot of positions got liquidated.
We have to go back a little bit more to see BTC prices above 10,000$ for a reasonable period of time, concretely to June 2019. This time the prices stayed consistently above that mark but they went down at the end of September 2019.
What I see everytime I look the chart below is a really strong resistance. A multi-year resistance that will need a lot of momentum to break and hold. This all suggests me that the history is going to repeat itself for the 3rd time in a row.
We are making lower highs, but we are also making higher lows, at some point it is going to get interesting to watch. I am also hoping that I am right as I want to buy more BTC at lower levels. It is hard to stop the FOMO actually and don't press the buy button, specially with this ETH pump before Ethereum 2.0.
I think that things are getting hot right now but we need something more to pull the trigger and start the trip to the All Time Highs, what I am sure is that sooner or later we'll get there.
Then it all will seem really obvious, but trust me, if you lived this long-bear market you would have been fooled a lot of times, and now I don't believe this pump. I will stick with my decision, even if I am wrong I HODL some altcoins and I will enjoy the trip anyway.
I hope that I will have the bags full by the end of the year, then I will just sit patiently and enjoy the landscape through the window.
