Why you should read books

Writing a good book is not easy - it practically condenses an author's lifetime knowledge and experience in a few hundred pages that takes you maybe a month to read. If you choose yours books well, can you imagine how much second hand knowledge you can absorb from the best minds across the centuries in a very short period of time ?! Any average 20 year old Physics graduate student today knows all the theories that Newton and Einstein spent their whole lives discovering. This is called exponential learning. The best minds in the world have always absorbed such knowledge like a sponge, processed it and improved upon it to create even more valuable knowledge. And in this epoch where information is practically free for everyone, this process has accelerated explosively. All you have to do is to find a good book - and read it !
