Welcome to the first reading to coffee.

Finally, something different than crypto. Take a coffee, read, learn new things and enjoy !

 

1. Nerve impulses which come in and out from brain, are faster than 300 km per hour.

2. DNA contains all information about human body and it can fit to cube of ice. But if we try to strip and roll DNA, it be 400x longer than distance from Earth to Sun and back.

3. Our skin is still regenerated - every hour we lost more than 600 000 pieces of skin. So, on 70th birthday human lost more than 50 kilograms of skin. 

 

4. The only bone which is not connected to another bone is hyoid bone.  The hyoid is only distantly articulated to other bones by muscles or ligaments. It is under the tongue, muscle which is the strongest in all body.

5. Body of a mature man have got enough iron to make a long iron nail, enough carbon to fit 900 pencils, enough fat to make 7 pieces of soap and enough water to fit 50l barrel.

 

6. Human can survive without food 1 month, withou water 1 week and without sleep only 10 days.

 

7. To feel the taste of food, food must be mixed with saliva. Without saliva we would be enable to recognise 4 elementary tastes. Every day we produce circa 1 litre of saliva. After 4 month we can fill a bath.

8. Brain of man weighs 1400 grams and brain of woman weights 1275 grams. But, who is smarter ?

9. Human nose can recognise over 3 trillion smells. 

 

10. The satisfying sound of cracking your knuckles comes from gas bubbles bursting in your joints.

11. As you breathe, most of the air is going in and out of one nostril. Every few hours, the workload shifts to the other nostril.

 

12. Bananas surprisingly share about 60% of the same DNA as humans!

14. Your brain is sometimes more active when you’re asleep than when you’re awake.

 

15. The acid in your stomach can dissolve razor blades.
