Bitcoin Transactions Hit All Time High

Bitcoin Transactions Hit All Time High

The number of bitcoin transactions has reached the highest its ever been spiking recently to over 600,000 transactions per day but bitcoin still falls to $28k. This clearly shows us that:

1. More people are using bitcoin to complete transactions.

This might be an obvious one but it could be enough to start the ball rolling towards a wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies and encourage people to incorporate them into their daily life.

2. Bitcoin is already being implemented in society.

Another thing that this new high tells us is that bitcoin is now being used more and more for daily money transactions. This is especially so in parts of the world where they may not have access to a safe bank or not have anywhere to put there money and so use bitcoin as a store of value.

In other news J.P. Morgan Chase has bought failing First Republic Bank for $10.6 billion. This comes after First Republic Bank ran into major financial issues last week when there total deposits dropped by more than $100 billion causing there share price to fall by almost 50%.

This new fear that banks are collapsing left right and centre is another reason bitcoin has been growing in popularity. Bitcoin was originally designed to be an alternative to banks so when the banks do badly bitcoin surges.
