With myself being no stranger to the concept of a Discord server, I was slightly shocked to find there was a facet of this platform that I had not witnessed until recently. This area of Discord can be found in various Servers that facilitate a Discord Bot used to Tip different Crypto Currencies. A fantastic service and concept, no doubt, with Tip.cc being one of the leading competitors in that market as far as I have seen.
Within these Servers, specifically with Tip.cc and the like, you will find Channels fully dedicated to "Begging". Unlike most servers I have been in, where it is a lot more reserved with a clear pool of various Cryptos for their Community being distributed in almost a scheduled fashion; These Begging channels encourage an almost obnoxious level of pestering for the smallest bits of coin.
Whether they're chasing attention for their projects, or just genuinely kind people, you get people at all hours of the day Airdropping differing increments of any Crypto under the sun that is somewhat accessible.
A small side note, is this whole Tipping Discord bot service has taught me of so many different Currencies that I had 0 Idea even existed in the first place. Let alone that some ended up being pretty decent coins when I did my research into them!
Nevertheless, people will drop Amounts of these coin from the smallest fraction of a penny, to full dollar amounts. So how do you claim these airdrops that random people throw into the chat at will?
There are various methods of drops you may see in these channels, from your common Airdrop where all you have to do to claim is react with the emoji presented below the Airdrop message. These Airdrops will have a timer, default set a 3 minutes unless otherwise specified by the person doing the airdrop.

One of these more "worthless" Coins you may find in Servers with the Tip.cc bot. CAPT is a Fun little social currency you will always have an abundance of.
Other Airdrops you may find consist of Math Equations, or Phrasedrops.
- Math Equations are just that, solve the Equation listed and earn part of the Pot for your right answer.
- Phrasedrops are a little simpler, you must Repeat the Phrase listed in the Drop message to qualify for a part of the Drop. These messages can be anything that the server allows, or the person sets. This feature can be funny, or used for promoting a person's project, etc. Though, I'm sure you can also imagine what trolls do with such a function.
Users Participating in a Phrasedrop, where the writer asks users to repeat the phrase Lara woke Puma up. Users who complete this task are awarded a portion of the allotted Crypto, split evenly amongst them.
Essentially, There are various Farmers in the Tip.cc community who will do their rounds to either the main server's channels or other supported Discord servers, and just drop their earnings. They will do this in increments of every few days - week.
Knowing that this happens, or that some people just want to tip their Randomly earned Crypto, you get individuals who sit there and consistently ask for the various Coins they could possibly want.
Sometimes it works, Sometimes tough luck. Either way I'm not knocking the hustle.
Truth be told, In my time sitting in 2 different servers -- which by all means isn't many -- I have earned roughly $10 - $15 in various Coins from tiny BTC Satoshis to other full coins like MEYERS, DARA, ANTS, the list goes on.
By no means is this Financial Advice, But if you find yourself bored browsing the internet, sometimes it isn't a bad idea to have Discord on a smaller window/other screen so you can participate in some Drops every now and then.
For the most part, people will mainly do Regular Airdrops, so as long as you react in the allotted time it's easy portions of Crypto.
Cool, So you made some Crypto. Now what? How do you Withdraw?
All I could ever recommend, is to chase particular coins that do NOT have Gas Fees to withdraw, or some outlandish minimum to move the balances around. So no, I don't think it's smart to chase $.50 cents of ETH considering Gas Fees.
Find the Tip.cc Official Bot in any Discord Server where you are participating in these Airdrops, and DM the Bot "$help" for any control help or setting configurations. From there, you can also DM the bot "$withdraw " with the currency you are attempting to move. From there, it will ask for an address to move said Currency, Maybe a memo that sort of thing.
From there, You're good to go! Follow the instructions given and have fun!
These Tip.cc bots are a great way to boost interactivity and utility for NFT Creators as well. You are able to set long airdrops of Different Currencies that you may trade your NFTs in.
