In the end the family came back unexpectedly early (on Wednesday in fact) so I have returned to my former "lurking" status as between MamaRah and Little-Rah and Tiny Rah (3 years old and 3 months old - a date coincidence that won't happen again I think) there is little or no time for much else.

I am still livid with my bank concerning my airline ticket but I did get a result of sorts. What I ended up doing was transferring the money to a friend who then bought the ticket on my behalf.

Very decent on his part but a completely unnecessary complication for something that should have been straightforward. It also leaves me beholden to others when spending my own money. It wasn't exactly the situation where I needed to borrow money.

I now have to figure out how to buy my train tickets on my flight day and that promises to be just as complicated.

Maybe I should ask my bank for permission to have a s**t!

I have really enjoyed my return to interacting on here and in the end, including this post, I have managed 10 posts in 13 days when i was aspiring to manage 12 posts in 12 days - so not so bad.

I also appreciated being able to share one of my heartbreaking short stories that I have published as a KDP with you and I hope it touched your hearts.

Anyhow for now I am disappearing back into "Lurkerland", but remember i am still about and will post from time to time.

Just on one final note I managed to leverage some additional staked USDC and added to my BTC pile this week by taking advantage of the dip and I am now - to some extent reset to go again - which ever way the price goes.
