I just passed 100,000 free 'Coins' and I mean totally FREE

By rah | rah | 25 Nov 2020

It’s been a little while since I wrote anything and as those of you who follow me know I don’t post unless I have something to say.

Now, I have a few things to share over the next few days and overall it is all good news. I’m spreading them out because generally each aspect is unrelated and I don’t want to write a shitpost that lacks coherence.

Clarity is the starting point of illumination

So the first success story to share with you is that yesterday my Cointiply hit 100,000 Coins (which translates into $10). I know it doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s totally FREE.

cointiply

I can convert it to DogeCoin or BitCoin and of course BitCoin is my preferred option. However, with BitCoin currently reaching for the sky I am hodling at 5% p.a.  (if I can say that about Cointiply Coins?) until there is a downward correction. As I have discussed in a previous post the USD value is fixed its purchasing power is based on the value of BitCoin at the time of cashing out. My thought at this moment is that I will continue to build my Cointiply Coin holdings and then I will drop it straight into Celsius where it will earn just under 5% p.a. and also fluctuate based on the price of BitCoin in any given day.

Hodling in Cointiply vs. moving funds to Celsius is discussed in greater depth here.

Anyhow the main point of writing is that unless you complete time consuming surveys or download endless apps and play them to level 3,423,704 (of course I’m exaggerating but only slightly!). It is a slow burner, but once you get going it gathers increasing momentum so it is definitely worth sticking with.

I don’t take advantage of any of these well paid offers because of the time element and with some of them you are expected to make some kind of a purchase to earn the reward. This effectively means using solid fiat to purchase Coins which at some point need reconverting.

To give you some idea it took me about 3 months to get 35,000 Coins and then another six weeks to get the other 65,000 and this wasn’t just because the Coin interest kicks in. To mix my metaphors, it is initially a slow burner, but then it snowballs.

In fact it is snowballing to such an extent (without heavy duty time investment) that there is a part of me that wants to push for 1,000,000 Coins ($100) and then take the cream of the top of that. So as well as my day to day activities it’s earning 5% p.a. On 1,000,000 Coins that is 50,000 Coins or $5 a year just in interest. You won’t get that from any banks that I know of and it’s all free.

So what ‘low maintenance’ activities do I do?

I have discussed these in the aforementioned article which is also listed in the references section below.

  • Roll the faucet wheel twice a day and earn a bonus for continually doing so. One hundred consecutive days leads to a 100% bonus which effectively doubles the amount of Coins earned
  • View the PTC ads as and when they come up. Usually in the morning there are loads added while you sleep, but more get added throughout the day.
  • View the daily videos. These are limited but pay 12 Coins per 30 second video (although some of them seem longer).
  • Take advantage of occasional new user offers that are simple. Usually these are along the lines of Install, open, close and then you are rewarded. I tend to remove the downloaded app immediately after the reward is given.
  • If you have some down time share in the ‘rain’? This is a chat interface where you get rewarded for chatting in a group. This works better on a laptop than a phone.

All of these things can be done while watching TV or engaged in other activities as its almost always (apart from the chat) click and close, click and close and repeat.

What I don’t do specifically is:

  • Download high Coin earning apps or games. There is a heavy cost in time and all too frequently an expected purchase.
  • Don't play the multiplier - you lose. Remember the house always wins in the end.
  • Don't go Premium - the benefits aren't worth it (see article in references).
  • Complete time consuming surveys. I did one a few weeks ago and yes I got 1000 Coins but it took me 40 minutes to complete and unlike the stuff in the ‘do‘ list it requires a high level of concentration. $0.10 is not worth the time invested.

So all in all Cointiply, because it is FREE, is totally worth it, but keep it real and keep the time vs earnings aspect in perspective.

BTW I don’t belong to nor am I affiliated to Cointiply in any way shape or form and this is all based on personal experience. The experience and opinions of others may of course be different.

So why not give Cointiply a go? Join here. Join on your PC and then get rewarded for downloading the app :)

Stay safe and stay well. More good news is on its way.
