We were warned! Is it the end? Have we lost everything we put into it? Is it as dead as a dodo or is it still alive and kicking? What am I talking about? Please forgive my tabloid approach to this article, but if I grabbed your attention it has worked. The wonderful creators at Publish0x give us three opportunities to grab your attention.
- The Article Title
- The Header Image (some of is like Cryptonator have gone as far as to create a brand with their images :) )
- The opening sentences of the article.
If it hasn't grabbed you by then, then it won't. Of course some people just blindly tip as they are going along!
So, enough preamble, what am I talking about.
This:

For two days now when attempting to access Freebitco.in it has failed to connect. I have done some checking and this is universal. They did create a notification that they were shutting down after several years of operation and from that moment we were all on borrowed time...
Despite being painfully slow, especially with the inflation of the BitCoin price reducing individual rolls to a single Sat, it still garnered a reputation as being one of the most reliable and best faucets in the game. You may also recall me posting about how I had set a specific target of 30,000 Sats, just before Christmas, which I achieved just in the last week or so, as they don't pay out on anything less.
So now we have a dead website and it might all be lost anyway as I have not entered my BitCoin address. In fact, all they have is my email address. So all might be lost anyway unless they contact me for follow up. The only silver lining is that it was free and I was generally only rolling as I was doing stuff on my computer anyway. Admittedly, since their announcement I did increase my intensity by moving everything to my mobile device, but even then it was was just a couple of minutes of access during each hour that I was able to roll.
It seems that as we stand and look down into the grave of what was, we need to wait for a resurrection of the Sats and it is not even Easter for another several weeks.

As always stay safe and well my friends.
