A few months ago, I signed up to this cloud mining contract with a free plan.

Obviously, it seemed like a scam from the get go. There was obnoxiously incorrect writing and the spellings were horrendous.

The website looked like it was designed in 2009, and not by Picasso by the way.

I found the site through a Reddit post. The author of the post claimed to have withdrawn his mined Bitcoin, even though he used a free plan. He even posted a link to check the transaction on the Blockchain.

That seemed pretty legit to me, added to the fact that there were no referral links.

So I signed up to the service. The minimum withdrawal is about 0.002BTC, so I have been mining since January 17. Terrible times out here.

I have a few BTC left to mine though before I can process a withdrawal.

Signing up to this service was part of a challenge I did back in 2019, trying to get from 0 to 0.1BTC in a few weeks. I have since completed the challenge without actually coming back to check on my "mining rig."

That said, I'll check back in about 5 days. If I can withdraw my funds, I will update you. 

Has anyone used this service before? Is it a scam? Am I wasting my time thinking of all the yellow lambos I will buy with my free BTC?
