The fact that we do not know who the legendary creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto is is a blessing and a curse all at once.

It is a blessing because then it puts a little mystery into the whole thing. No one knows his twitter, if he has any, or if he even is a he. All thes mysterious things come together in a really nice way, and it makes this bitcoin thing a whole lot more interesting.

However, the downside is that we really don't know what his/her vision for their creation really is. And although it is nearly 100% unlikely, we don't know if this person has a bunch of Bitcoin held up in reserves, and is just waiting for the right time to dump on all of us.(Definitely not true, but we can't factor out the possibility).

The major downside though is that we can't ask this person any important questions, or get answers to questions we have. 

This didn't stop me from having questions though, and in this post I will be highlighting a few questions I have for Satoshi Nakamoto.

Here they are:

1. What do you think about your creation being publicly traded against the very thing you hoped to eradicate?

I really wish to know his/her standings on this particular development. Bitcoin was created to be an alternative form of money to replace the valueless and centralised fiat that we have in use today.

But many people misunderstand this and go ahead to value Bitcoin in the very thing it hopes to eradicate. Whenever the value of Bitcoin falls in US Dollars, they freak out and give away so much value for so little money in an attempt to get back to their "safe ground" with fiat. They never really believed in the project and just wanted a quick buck off it.

Sure it is important for some people to value bitcoin in US dollars, such as miners who need the bitcoin earned from mining to be converted to US Dollars so that they can survive.

Regardless, this is a question I'd like to ask Satoshi.

2. Why didn't you reveal your identity to the public?

Imagine how famous and rich Satoshi would be by now if everyone knew who he/she was. It would be crazy, I'm telling you. 

It would come with the downside of people threatening his/her life for free bitcoin and all those other security issues, but majorly it'd be great.

This not revealing yourself thing more or less leaves the floor open to anyone to claim the ultimate title or Bitcoin's creator. Some people have actually tried, believe it or not.

I would really like to know why he/she decided not to reveal their identity.

3. Did you envision Bitcoin to become this great?

Whenever someone's creation becomes great, one of the major questions I wish to ask them is whether or not they saw it becoming great.

Whenever I had a post getting over 100000 views on Neowin, for me it was just another casual day at the office. I never really thought of what I would do if that post passed it's usual 10k views, so when it did I didn't really know what to do.

This question is really paramount in my mind to ask Satoshi. Starting from when it was created, Bitcoin is now  really big deal and still costs a lot of money despite its recent crash. 

(This is just my opinion, but the lack of scalability parameters shown by bitcoin shows that Satoshi really didn't plan for it to become this big)

4. Why did you choose 21 million as the limited supply? Is 21 a special number?

Lastly, I would like to know why Satoshi chose 21 million as the capped supply. If he/she wanted Bitcoin to replace money, they'd have at least factored in frowning population and made it possible for everyone in the world to have 1 bitcoin. So why 21 million?

(I also have my own opinion on this. I feel it is because he wanted Bitcoin to become so valuable that if 21 million bitcoin could be shared and everyone got a piece, then it's value would be massive. 0.01BTC would probably be able to get you a Lamborghini Aventador if that happened. My thoughts though)
