At the entrance to the museum, visitors are greeted by Aristotle. It seems that if you go around the entire museum, you can get an education in general biology, learn everything: from minerals and the origin of life, to plants, insects and dinosaurs.
I envy British children whose parents, instead of religious institutions, take them to a natural science museum to talk about evolutionary biology.

Richard Dawkins, by the way, also comes here, he lives in Oxford.

England is a country where scientists are elevated to the rank of gods, and museums look like temples glorifying the natural and technical sciences. And this is wonderful, because it is thanks to scientists that our lives improve and the world moves forward.

I have always adored natural sciences; as a child I could spend hours looking at an encyclopedia on general biology.
Apparently this interest was passed down from my dad, who devoted his entire life to neurosurgery and the study of the brain.

A short story as a motivator: From an interview with two English teachers, one of whom was the Canadian polyglot Steve Kaufman.

Tell us, how did you manage to learn so many languages? Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese French, Persian, etc.
- It’s very simple, I studied the language every day for eight hours a day, listened to audio books, wrote, read, when I didn’t understand the audio, I listened to it 5-10 times, analyzed it sentence by sentence, word by word.

So there is no magic recipe and you have to work hard?
Such a harsh fairy tale without a happy ending. Life is not about Tony Robbins, it is about enjoying overcoming difficulties and being able to work hard. No magic.
Spend eight hours every day doing something you want to succeed at, and you will experience magic.
