Today I woke up early in the morning, at about 5 o'clock, went outside, I hear birds singing, freshness, dew, a little fog.
I remembered how in childhood (9-10 years old) I went fishing with my older brother.
We woke up at 4 in the morning, or rather my brother woke me up, but I didn't want to, I scolded him, and he said, kid, you yourself begged me to take you fishing last night, so get up and let's go.
We had breakfast with tea with chamomile and mint, sandwiches from homemade fresh bread, with homemade butter and feta cheese from goat's milk, mmm, how delicious, as I remember.
We went to the garden and dug worms, and then rode bicycles into the forest to the lakes about 30 kilometers away.
We arrived at the shore, collected the rods, tackle, cast in and waited. My brother is smoking, and I am watching the float until it starts to twitch. But it doesn't twitch. It looks like the fish are still sleeping or don't want to eat, which is annoying. It's cool, there are no mosquitoes yet, but they will soon and they will start to bother me.
Since I'm small, I couldn't sit in one place for long, and wandered along the shore in search of something interesting. And I found it.
I saw a rope in the water from the shore, going under the water. I thought, what if it's a corpse. At that time, during the summer, a lot of idiots drowned in lakes, either drunk or not knowing how to swim.
So I grabbed the rope and pulled it towards me. Something heavy, I thought, wow, I'm strong, I'm dragging a whole corpse from the bottom)))
I pulled and pulled, and I saw some kind of nonsense in the algae appearing in the water. At first I was scared, and then I started pulling again, because I was curious what kind of thing I had found.
Everything turned out to be simpler, it's a crayfish trap, but for fish. Such a braided thing made of wire in the shape of a jug, on one side there is a hole where the fish swim in, but can't come back.
And this crayfish trap is half filled with different fish, crucian carp, perch, rudd, etc.
I was so happy with such a catch))) And I didn't even think that it was someone's thing, but I didn't care.
I run to my brother, tell him what I caught, take a bucket and run back. I pull out all the fish and take them for myself. I threw the trap on the shore, and my brother says to throw it back, let more fish be caught.
And then a brilliant idea came to me, I looked for ropes on the shore and pulled out the traps, took the fish for myself, and threw the traps back into the water
Imagine the faces of those people who come to check the traps, and they are empty)))
Well, I couldn’t imagine it then)))
Since then, this type of “fishing” was the best for me)))
I didn’t have to meditate for hours on this rod, sit and feed mosquitoes, but just walked along the shore, found ropes, pulled out the traps and fish from them, threw them back and went home to enjoy)))
Even though my brother was older, he appreciated my genius)))
Then he made “cats” with a strong rope from reinforcement, and we brazenly threw them into the water and hooked something, because the rope was not always visible. Even fishing screens were taken out with fish
I don't know if my brother told anyone about this, but it was our little secret))) Well, so that we wouldn't get beat up by adults if they caught us)))
Oh, so many years have flown by so quickly...
