Do you believe in signs from above

Do you believe in the signs that higher powers send us? I am, why not. Back in early March, when I decided to make an information post, thinking about all the current events and walking through the mountain nature park in California, I saw golden domes with Orthodox crosses through the greenery of palm trees and could not believe my eyes. This is not just a park in the middle of the city, it is a huge area with hills and mountain paths, dense vegetation and a river. And suddenly the temple. To my great surprise, it turned out to be the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Andrew. And as soon as I saw her, my heart felt lighter. But I still temporarily refused the news. Let's hope for the best, for a just world. But as they say: "if you want peace, be ready for war." I mean, you can't relax... With such a neighbor, the world will be troubled.

I'll add a short story about a trip to Idaho. We came there for a temporary delivery job. We delivered parcels to local villages. It's not easy to start from scratch in another country. Well, in any case, an extra penny is not superfluous and no honest work scares us... We were about to leave Idaho and go home, but there was no work for 2 days: on Sunday and on Monday (it was a public holiday here - Columbus Day). There was no work, but we visited two museums (the Museum of History and the Idaho Museum), by the way, there is a potato museum here, but we did not go there... we went to the aquarium, bought cheap things (everything is more expensive in California), climbed some mountain with Greek columns, visited a Japanese garden, walked along the river embankment, toured the entire city center, visited the iconic fountain monument, visited 3 parks, met Russian speakers from Sacramento (here they will think that the California mafia has captured them). There were 4 cars of us from California, two Russians and two Georgians from Ukraine, and two more Uzbeks... a total of 5 cars. The Turks also wanted to join us. In general, it's not boring. I'm sharing with you some photos from Idaho museums. After this trip, we firmly decided to travel around the nearest States by car, we already have experience. Next up are Oregon, Washington and Arizona...

"Every time the reforms begin with the statement that the fish rots from the head, then the reformers eat the healthy body, and the rotten head floats on. Therefore, everything that was rotten under Ivan the Terrible is still alive, and everything that was healthy five years ago has already been devoured." (Victor Pelevin. The Sacred Book of the Werewolf)

"The Sacred Book of the Werewolf." Philosophical arguments about love are mixed with the filth of choice abuse and highlighting the obvious vices of the characters. However, all this pales in comparison to the fact that, after putting down the book, you return to it more than once and rethink, reread the passages. You're looking for something valuable hidden between the lines.
