If you are using Google Chrome Store you will see that they are going in the wrong direction. Instead on focus on improving functionnalities, they focus on disable a lot of extensions that could save people life and energy:

1 - Auto Player Stopper:

This extension could serve you for example if you do not want for example to go to youtube channel and then a video is played by default. This extension will be disabled in the near future which forces users to move from Google Chrome to Brave to enable auto play stopper.

2 - Upload from URL:

If you want to upload an image from URL instead of download and upload that consumes * 2 the size of image, they are going to disable it because of unknown reason, I do not say any valid reason for disable it.

3 - Monosnap:

A video screen recorder that would be available for people to record videos from their laptops could save you a lot of time of manually configure OBS then it would be a shame to disable such extension.
