There was not much activity in my Bumped portfolio today. Because of this I decided to dig around in the portfolio itself and see what holdings were in it. I wanted to break down how many shares of each company I have. I also wanted to see what the value of each slice of the pie is worth.
In the screenshots below you are able to see what companies make up the majority of the portfolio. There are many more companies in the "more" section of the portfolio but they do not make up a large chunk of the total portfolio. Because of this I will leave them out and only focus on the meat of the portfolio.
Kroger is out largest holding and has over 2 shares! We shop for our groceries at Kroger. We also use Kroger for our fuel so we are making two large and frequent purchases at Kroger. Because of this, Bumped rewards us for each purchase. Plus, we make these purchases with our credit card and we earn an additional 2% cash back.
Target is out next largest holding. We use the CVS inside Target as our pharmacy. Since the purchase is within Target, buying our medication earns of rewards. Since we're already inside Target to get our medicine, we OF COURSE have to buy something from Target itself. It's rare to leave Target empty handed... Because you know... It's Target.
Our smallest holding being shown is Walmart. This only triggers when we shop at Sam's Club. We do not often but foods in bulk BUT we do purchase toiletries in bulk. That is where all the rewards for this holding comes from.
These were just some of the key items I wanted to point out and explain when and where the purchases come from. Just slight portfolio analysis.
If you have any questions about Bumped or where/how I strategically plan and use Bumped please leave it in the comments!
