Hello everyone. This is going to be a non-crypto post. My wife is a comedian, and has been doing comedy for almost 20 years. Her name is Rachel Feinstein. She has traveled all over the US headlining at various comedy clubs, as well as travel to other countries to participate in comedy festivals, and now she is doing a podcast on Spotify. The comedy world is smaller than you think, and a lot of the comics tend to know each other. As she was making a name for herself in the comedy world, she came across an audition for a reality show called, Last Comic Standing. She made it as a contestant on the show, and ended up making it into the top 8 before being voted off. This show really helped catapult her career. She was able to quit her side job and now concentrate full time on comedy.
As a result of all this, she became friends with Amy Schumer and Keith Robinson. Amy Schumer was friends with Bridget Everette, and she introduced Bridgette to my wife and Keith. They all became very close friends. About a year and half ago they decided to all do a podcast together. Amy made a phone call and the rest was history. Just like that, a podcast was created. The podcast started out as a just a couple of friends talking non-sense, to being a successful podcast with over a million listeners. Needless to say, Spotify was very happy with the results. Now that the podcast is a success, the guest list is starting to be filled with some big names. My wife had the opportunity to interview Jerry Seinfeld in one of the recently aired episodes. They are currently working on some interviews now that will be edited and released in the upcoming weeks. There is also talk of doing some shows live without any editing. My wife told me some of the upcoming names that will interviewed and there are going to be some pretty big names that I look forward to listening to.
I like to hear stories about people doing something that they are passionate about and succeeding. So I say to you, if you have an idea or if you want to start a podcast or blog of your own, just go ahead and do it. Take that first step, that leap, jump, etc. If you are passionate about something, then you will want to put your focus and efforts into it. It will give you drive to succeed. Who knows, maybe your blog, podcast, or posts will go viral and you will be the next sensation. Keep grinding. Thanks for reading.
