The rumor mill has just restarted while 50 bitcoins have just been transformed from an encrypted wallet which has been inactive since 2009. It seems that the coins were extracted during the creation of bitcoin and are now worth around $ 500,000.
There have been rumors circulating in the crypto space for more than 10 years now as to the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto and we may never know. The reason we are raising them is that someone close to them could potentially have found the wallet. While others think it could have been one of the first miners in the bitcoin network who simply forgot one of its old coins and was finally able to recover the keys to its wallet, people and their speculations continue.
Mati Greenspan, one of the most famous figures in the crypto space, turned to Twitter to ask the question: Is Satoshi alive? Others in the industry ask the same question during this time. After someone discovered that the coins were being transferred to a new wallet, the price of bitcoin dropped in a matter of minutes.
In recent weeks, the price of bitcoin has been moving sideways and this event has (apparently) only triggered a rapid crash. This could easily enter a prolonged downtrend on its daily chart, but if Satoshi Nakamoto is actually alive and a real person, the question must be asked why he would deliberately move his assets and see bitcoin crashing from this way.
