Just wondering what is your favorite current gen console.=
I have a favorite, but firs,t tiny back story time. The only reason i have a favorite is because of brand loyalty. That being said i have 2 of the 3 consoles on this list. ( Xbox, and PlayStation ). Favorite is a lose term for me, i use one over the other; however each console has its pro and cons. The only reason i have a "preference" is cause i have been with Microsoft my whole life, from their OS to its gaming consoles. That being said both gaming system seem to preform the same job. ( they entertain you). Before i get into Pros and cons of each system ( Xbox vs PlayStation) lets talk about some of its other competitors, and each "systems " purpose in my opinion (over all goal of entertainment). (the switch, and PC ). The switch - is "mostly " a child's platform. The PC is a "catch all" system , The Xbox and PlayStation seem to fill the same generic goal. ( it hard to separate these to consoles).

has backwards compatibility

No blue ray player

cheaper

Nintendo has all the rights ( reason why i hate the switch)
No major AAA titles ( before we argue about breath of the wild That is an exclusive and doesn't count)
the graphics are not on par with the other consoles
the lack of NON Nintendo games. (aka too many exclusives)

older games have issues running on new PCs ( there are work a rounds however this is still a "Con"
