Where Life Lives

Where Life Lives

By Bart23 | Order Will Return | 13 Mar 2020

Sunlight on lids after darkness has reigned.

Blurring the lines between pleasure and pain

Embraces so tight that they leave me gasping

Imbued with a promise of love everlasting.

Violin melody played high and sweet

Bracing cold surf on my tired aching feet.

The peaceful uneasiness found in the dark

Where I’ll find contemplation in all of the stars.

Vast open blue ocean, the sting of the spray

The awe of the storm and the smell of the rain

The warmth and the comfort of family and friends

And the refuge in knowing that love never ends.

A song striking chords, dancing over my skin

The first purple flower that heralds the Spring

Pain of new beginnings filled with pleasure

Motherhood’s joy and love beyond measure.
