It’s time to take my medicine
But the red pill tastes so bitter
The black one’s hard to swallow down
And I’ve never been a quitter.
The blue pill seems appealing
It’s what the normies take
And it’s wrapped in fancy packaging
But I cannot be a fake.
It’s time to take my medicine
But I don’t know what is right
So I search myself while lost at sea
And find a pill that’s white.
It gives me back my courage
It helps my soul to sing
And offers me protection
From what this world may bring.
