Money is good, God knows I love and want more of it
But there are some things money cannot replace
Even though money makes those moments easy to trace
There should be a greater purpose to waking up every day just for money
Even though, I repeat, money makes things easier to do
We need to understand what makes us who we are even without money
Are you only happy when you know your account balance is loaded?
Are you on a downward slope of emotions when your account hits the red?
Happiness should come from within even though external influence adds a little too
Maybe, just maybe, when your purpose isn't about money, maybe money comes
Because I noticed those who mainly chase money still end up being fulfilled
