For we are like seeds planted in the soil,
days after days, nights after nights,
upon our lives do we toil,
the rain and snow and wind and sun,
all become our source of energy,
the result of our appearance
is the effect they have on us,
rain must fall upon us all,
that we may become a tree, so tall.
We are also likened to the days and seasons,
sunrise, sunset, the night goes, the day unwraps,
our lifetime determined by the tick-tick of the time,
the lights and darkness all become the determiner,
the outcome of our existence
is how we spent each second,
time and chance must happen to us all,
that we may not live our lives in gall.
And we are like the silent dark nights,
with no rays of the dimmest light,
no sounds to accompany our lonely thoughts,
like slices and broken pieces,
we pick up our lives,
fight unto light
Upon is all, light must shine,
that we may be glows of light in the world of darkness.
