Manchester United produced their own invincible season which is not anything like Arsenal's as United went the whole season unbeaten on the road but Arsenal went the entire season unbeaten. They held this phenomenal record as they never lost any game away from home. Their home form was questionable at some point but they always managed to claw their ways back in away games to either win or draw at least.
This away form dragged United back into contention as they were also struggling earlier in the season before a remarkable turnaround pushed them further up the table.
United made 10 changes with injection of youth and substitutes. The regulars were benched in preparation for the Europa League final against Villarreal. The young Elanga led the line for United and he impressed with a lovely goal against Wolves who played at home and also in a final game for their manager as the manager for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 19 years old Elanga took the lead when James' lovely cross found him inside the box. He headed home with power and accuracy to give United the lead on the day. It was a lovely moment for the youngster.
Wolves pegged United back as they have offered little threat up to that point. It was a moment where United's defence was caught napping and Fabio Silva found Semedo in the box. His quick and instinctive shot found the back of the net. It was a lovely team goal for Wolves.
United got back their lead after Van De Beek was brought down inside the box. After a moment with VAR and the monitor, the referee pointed to the spot and Juan Mata stepped up for United's 10th league penalty of the season. Mata send the goalkeeper the wrong way for an emotional celebration, 2-1.
Manchester United missed a lovely chance to extend their lead when Amad played in James. With the goalkeeper to beat, James' attempt didn't only beat the goalkeeper but he beat the post. It was a shocking miss.
United won the game 2-1 to be the 4th side to go unbeaten on away games throughout the season after playing 19times - Won 12 and drawn 7. Only Preston (1988-1989) and Arsenal have done that. Arsenal did it on 2 occasions - 2001/2002 and 2003/2004.
