I keep saying football is unpredictable and more so where Premier League is concerned. I expected a walkover for the matches played yesterday. I thought Chelsea and Manchester City would treat us into an exhibition but seeing how City have been in recent games, I knew they might struggle but then, hoping they would at least edge it.

Chelsea started the match brightly and as expected they were all over Wolves. I knew Wolves were dangerous especially when you consider the deadly Neto and the unpredictable Traore.

Chelsea got the break they were looking for 4 minutes into second half when Oliver Giroud pounced on a delivery into the box which the Keeper couldn't handle very well.

Prudence responded in the 66th minute for Wolves before Pedro Neto did the unthinkable in the 95th minute. Wolves rallied from trailing to taking the lead to the frustration of Lampard. Chelsea now moved out of the top 4 as they sit in 5th position. If United win by Thursday against Sheffield United, they would go further down.

Another shocker was Manchester City v West Brom. Even with the epileptic nature of City, I expected City to at least nick this but it wasn't meant to be. City took the lead but West Brom responded and the game ended 1-1.

I could have been so confident that City would get the winner but it wasn't meant to be. City had so many chances from Gundogan to Sterling to win it at the end but the victory eluded them, much to the frustration of Guardiola because these are the matches his team should be winning so as to make up grounds from those ahead of them.

Football is always full of twists and turns, isn't it?

I look forward to Liverpool v Tottenham tonight.
