The new year is shaping up really well for Tottenham as they won against Leeds United and they did so in a classy fashion.

I expected Leeds United to pose a threat for Tottenham but they did very little compared to expectations. They lacked that cutting edge and the few chances they had were tamed efforts.

Tottenham controlled the match to some extent and as expected, they took the lead albeit from the penalty spot. Harry Kane stepped up and he blasted the ball straight down into the back of the net.

Son expertly converted another chance from Harry Kane into the back of the net to give them 2 goals up while Toby rounded up the scoring with an expert header which the goal line assistance verified to have crossed the line.

Mourinho needed this win to lift the mood in the camp and restore confidence back into the team, the confidence they have been devoid of for recent games now.
