A lot of people live their lives based on what others think
Who do you see in the mirror when you wake up?
You are responsible for your life and no one else
What kind of thoughts occupy your mind when the light is out?
No one else would encourage you but yourself
Others might lift your mood and cheer you on
But do you still have the strength to forge ahead when the ovation ceases?
We all have questions and that's right
Many want to know whom life even favours more
Because there are those whom life give more to
While some give their all to life
We all have our shot and our parts to play
Life won't always give you what you deserved but what you demand
It takes the brave to go through life without worrying about what others think
Red is red, a kiss is a kiss, the potato would still be potato
Just as humans would always be humans -
Unsatisfied, judge, selfish and inconsiderate
Leaving your way to satisfy them won't stop them from being human
Because in the end, you'd ask yourself, what's the point?
That's life and you just have to be you...
