One of the most boring Derbies I have ever watched. My opinion, anyway. I was excited about this match due to how serious I felt both teams would want this match. One team coming on the back of a Champions League exit and the other from lack of scoring too many goals. I felt they would and should give their fans something to cheer about, but no.

There was this opinion that maybe if the fans were there, they would push the team and demand the home team to push for a win. I doubt you can demand anything from this United side. They played with caution and surprisingly, City too.

Both teams lacked urgency. They both played with caution, soaked the pressure all in and played on the counter. They were careful with each other's counter. I have never watched a match in a long time and I would be dozing off.

For neutrals, the match didn't live up to its expectations. It is a derby to forget but for both teams, it is a point gained rather than two points dropped regarding how shoddy their season has been so far.

Both teams are still trailing each other on the log table and would need to win their lesser matches - so it seem because no team is lesser or push over again in this Premier League. 

I really expected so much from this match but it didn't live to its billing. The match ended 0-0.
