Some pains go deeper than words could explain
She felt the sharpness of pain as his words broke her spirit
She only wanted to show her love and express her feelings
All she wanted was to act like a lady in love but she was hurt
He didn't see it coming either because he pushed his luck
He acted differently not because he didn't love her
He only did that without thoughts hoping she would understand how hurt he felt
Both parties left too much to assumptions
And as their silence grew so was the gap between them
Drifting apart with so much space within a short time
They found their way back to each other but those words resound
Patching up the pieces they knew they both had a part in this wrong
As both tried to patch up the walls which require a lot more effort
It could have been avoided and now they have work of mending to do
Love and hurt go hand in hand whether deliberately or not
You would hurt each other and that's why a bit more consideration is necessary
