This is not because you are disliked
Or they do not wish you good things
It's because life can be really dangerous, sometimes
If you walk too hastily
This quicksand life will swallow you whole
Without leaving a trace behind
And your narrative in life would change
To someone who didn't make it to the top
Despite the delay
You have to realise that
Delay doesn't mean it's the end
And when you are given advice
It's sometimes for your benefit
Not everyone hates you
Some people want the best for you
But still, this is life and your choices
Be observant
Be careful and work hard
When it's time to wait a little bit, do so
Life is turn by turn anyway
Life goes by so fast
